Bravado Cookie Notice
Last Updated: October 13, 2022
This Cookie Notice includes information regarding how Bravado Network, Inc. (“Bravado”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and other similar technology on our Services. Please note that this Cookie Notice will be updated from time to time, and you are encouraged to periodically review this Cookie Notice to stay informed of any updates. Your continued use of the Services will be deemed acceptance from you of any updates to this Cookie Notice. Also, please note that, unless we define a term in this Cookie Notice, all capitalized terms used in this Cookie Notice have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. So, please make sure that you have read and understand our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We can place cookies and other similar technology on your device, including any mobile device. You will have the option to select cookies that you do not wish to have placed on your device by adjusting the preferences found in the Cookie Consent Tool found through the Cookie Settings. Should you wish to make changes after that, please do this via the Cookie Settings. You may need to refresh the page before the changes to the settings take effect.
Strictly necessary cookies will always be turned on, as they are necessary for your device to work properly with our Services, and you may select any cookies you would not be willing to allow on your device.
Who is the Controller for the Personal Data Processed?
Bravado receives and records information which may include personal data from your browser when you visit our Site and use our Services. We use a variety of methods and cookies. However, broadly speaking, the information we collect may include (1) your anonymized IP address; (2) a unique cookie identifier, cookie information and information on whether your device has software to access certain features; (3) unique device identifier and device type; (4) domain, browser type and language, (5) operating system and system settings; (6) country and time zone; (7) previously visited websites; (8) information about your interaction with our Services such as click behavior and indicated preferences; and (9) access times and referring URLs.
This cookie policy is made in the name of Bravado. Unless we notify you otherwise, Bravado is the controller of your personal data (a “controller” is an entity that on its own or jointly with other entities determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data). This cookie policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy which gives full details of how and why we use your personal data when you are using the Services and provides details about your rights in relation to your personal information and how to contact us if you want to file a complaint.
The Services may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. When you leave our Services, we encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.
Please note that the Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data relating to children.
What are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are text files placed on your device to store data that can be recalled by a web server in the domain that placed the cookie. Those cookies are set by us and called first-party cookies. We may also use “web beacons” to help deliver cookies and gather usage and performance data. Web beacons do not place information on your device, but they may work in conjunction with cookies to monitor website activity. The information provided below about cookies also applies to web beacons and similar technologies. Conversion pixels are small codes located on a particular web page which are triggered when someone visits a page resulting in an increase in the conversion count. We also use third-party cookies, which are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting and are used for advertising and marketing efforts. You can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org and www.youronlinechoices.eu.
What Types of Cookies do We Use and How long do They Last?
Our Cookie Consent Tool, found through the Cookie Settings, provides information about the cookies we use per category of cookies (e.g., strictly necessary, behavioral, advertising), and the description of these categories of Cookies.
We use both first-party and third-party cookies:
First-party cookies, that are set by the website you are visiting (in this case, bravado.co)
Third-party cookies, that are set by a domain that is different from the website you are visiting. For instance, when you open a page that contains a YouTube® video, some cookies will be placed on your device by the YouTube® website.
Cookies can be either session cookies or persistent cookies:
Session cookies expire when you leave this website and close your internet browser.
Persistent cookies stay in place in your browser even after leaving this website. For instance, a cookie that stores the information to know whether you are a new or a returning visitor is a persistent cookie.
Our Purposes for Using of Cookies and Similar Technologies:
We may use information collected from our cookies to identify user behavior and to serve content and offers based on your profile, and for the other purposes described below, to the extent legally permissible in certain jurisdictions.
In other cases, we can associate cookie information (including information from cookies placed via our advertisements on third party sites) with an identifiable individual. For example:
If we send you a targeted email which includes web beacons, cookies or similar technologies, we would be able to know whether you open, read, or delete the message.
When you click a link in a marketing e-mail you receive from us, we may also use a cookie to log what pages you view and what content you download from our Services, even if you are not registered at or signed into our Services.
We may combine data from publicly available sources, and from our different e-mail, website, and personal interactions with you (this includes information collected across our Services and information collected when you sign-up or log on to our Services or connect to our Services using your social media credentials). We combine this data to better assess your experience with us and to perform the other activities described throughout our Privacy Policy.
Other purposes may include:
Storing your preferences and settings. We use cookies to store your preferences and settings on your device, and to enhance your experiences. Saving your preferences with cookies prevents you from having to set your preferences repeatedly. Where we obtain your choice to opt out of placing cookies on your device, we store your choice in a cookie.
When signing in and authentication. We use cookies to authenticate you. When you sign-in to your Member Account, we store a unique ID number, and the time you signed in, in an encrypted cookie on your device. This cookie allows you to move from page to page without having to sign in again on each page. You may be able to also save your sign-in information so you do not have to sign in each time you return to your Member Account.
Security. We use cookies to process information that helps us secure our Services, as well as detect fraud and abuse.
Storing information that you provided. We use cookies to remember information you shared. If applicable, when you make selections or choices on our Services, we store the data in a cookie for the purpose of remembering the information.
Social media. Our Services may also include social media cookies, including those that enable users who are signed into the social media service to share content via that service.
Interest-based advertising. We may use cookies to collect data about your online activity and identify your interests so that we can provide advertising that is most relevant to you. You can opt out of receiving interest-based advertising by updating your preferences on the cookie consent manager.
Showing advertising. We may use first-party or third-party cookies to record how many visitors have clicked on an advertisement and to record which advertisements you have seen, for example, so you don’t see the same one repeatedly.
Analytics. We may use first-party and third-party cookies and other identifiers to gather usage and performance data. For example, we may use cookies to count the number of unique visitors to a web page or service and to develop other statistics about the operations of our products.
Performance. We may use cookies to understand and improve how our Services perform in order keep our website remain up and running.
What if I Don’t Want Cookies or Similar Tracking Technologies?
Necessary cookies will always be active on your Cookie Settings. However, we explicitly ask for your consent to place behavioral and advertising cookies and other similar technologies on your device. If at any time you want to change your cookie settings, including withdrawing your consent to these cookies, we would encourage you to do this via our Cookie Consent Tool found through the Cookie Settings. You may need to refresh the page before the changes to the settings take effect.
Please note that the cookie consent tool contains summarized descriptions of the owners of the different cookies.
While we provide the means to refuse or withdraw your consent to the use of cookies via our Cookie Consent Tool found through the Cookie Settings (except for necessary cookies), we recommend installing a web browser plugin built for a comprehensive and up-to-date summary of every third party accessing your web browser. You can also choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent to your device, or you can choose to turn off all cookies.
If you want to block all cookies, you may be able to do this through your browser settings on each browser and device that you use to access the internet. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser “Help” menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies preferences. Alternatively, www.allaboutcookies.org provides further information on how to do this and on how to delete cookies already in place on your hard drive if you so wish. Please be aware that, if you turn cookies off, you may not have access to many features that make our Site efficient and some of our Services will not function properly.
You should be aware that disabling a category of cookies will not delete an existing cookie from a browser. Deletion of cookies already in place on your hard drive needs to be done separately.
